This book is my favorite book in this series. It has a lot of adveture, and reminds me a little of Harry Potter. Artemis Fowl is detailed and has a lot of action. Eoin Colfer creates a different world, and shows how different Artemis Fowl is from a normal boy his age.

Artemis Fowl is a cunning, genius of a 12-year old boy. Some people say he's like Harry Potter, but if they say this, then they must not have read the book very well. Artemis Fowl isn't a wizard, he's a 12-year old criminal/genius. I liked the Harry Potter series, and I would like to recommend the Artemis Fowl series if you've read the Harry Potter seies. I'd also recommend Artemis Fowl if you haven't read Harry Potter. I love adventure books, and if there's ever adventure books, then this Artemis Fowl series is one of the best of them. I really liked how the story (1rat book) was put together,and I am starting the second book.
