Review Detail

The community knows that after school is over, a fast kid they lovingly call A-Train Allen will be zooming past on his way without time for distractions. The story is in motion as it describes all the places he runs past. This would be a great book to read while studying verbs or synonyms because we are introduced to many forms of the word fast as he rushes to meet his grandmother. The illustrations are animated and lively making it easy to turn to the next page to see where he goes next. I love that the underpinning reason for his running is to be with his family and that the community is watching out for him and cheering him on.
