Every once in awhile, that one movie comes along that has a little bit of everything in it.
Comedy.
Drama.
Weird.
Awesome.
City Island is perfection at its best.
And I wouldn't have picked this movie up if it wasn't for Steven Strait. He's gorgeous and I vow to watch every movie he will every play in. And I personally have Steven to thank for my finding of Ezra Miller.
Who also, like this movie, is perfection. Perfection waling on two legs. And I will watch every movie he makes, also. (He is THAT good.)
Ezra makes this movie! He steals every scene that he is in. He's extremely adorable. He's an overall great actor.
Really, if you don't know who he is, watch everything else he has played in.
Examples: Beware the Gonzo, We Need to Talk About Kevin. And also, in the new movie adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, he is playing our beloved Patrick. (So yeah, obviously he is good if he is around the likes of Emma Watson and Logan Lerman.)
The movie has one of the most interesting plots to date, and I hate that not many people have seen it! I can't say much about it because it's one of those movies that you HAVE to watch in one sitting and never look away from the screen. Things are constantly happening.
Great movie to watch a ton of times and laugh your bum off.
