There’s music in the wind and sky. Can you hear it? And there’s hope. Can you feel it? The boy called August Rush can. The music mysteriously draws him, penniless and alone, to New York City in a quest to find – somehow, someway – the parents separated from him years earlier. And along the way he may also find the musical genius hidden within him. Experience the magic of this rhapsodic epic of the heart starring Freddie Highmore (as August), Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Terrence Howard and Robin Williams. "I believe in music the way some people believe in fairy tales," August says. Open your heart and listen. You’ll believe, too.

August Rush is a different kind of story that will make you think. Music. That's what brings everyone of these people together and it's what transforms their lives. Is it possible for something as simple as music to bring an entire family together after they have been separated for years? August Rush believes this is possible. And so, as a boy, he becomes a musical genius and finds his parents through the power of music.

Is this possible? I think so.

Music is my first love. It follows me everywhere I go, and I willingly let it.

There is something about August Rush that I completely connected with. There is so much heart and soul in this film, that I become an emotional wreck ever time I watch it.

Freddie Highmore is so great! I have watched just about everything he has played in, and he continues to get better. I originally watched this movie because of Johnathan Rhys Meyers, because..well, do I really need an explanation. His voice is so, so incredibly sexy. And Robin Williams is beyond creepy in this part.

Anyways, the thought that music binds this entire family is beautiful. The way it all comes together in the end is spectacular. Again, I am an emotional wreck by the ending credits.

If you haven't seen August Rush yet, do it.
