This Little Kitty in the Garden is an enchanting and adorable children's book featuring several different cats engaging in and resting up after a day of spring gardening, using rhymed verse. While the rhyming verse isn't perfect, it still makes for an easy read for young readers.

The illustrations offer a lot of fun movement, effectively capture the cats' distinctly different personalities. Each spread contains something of interest, and young readers will be amused by the notion of these kitties venturing outdoors into the sunlight, spotting a rabbit, and getting in the way of their mostly off-page human companions.
