In THE DARK DIVINE, Grace Divine made the ultimate sacrifice to cure Daniel Kalbi. She gave her soul to the wolf to save him and lost her beloved mother. When Grace receives a haunting phone call from Jude, she knows what she must do. She must become a Hound of Heaven. Desparate to find Jude, Grace befriends Talbot - a newcomer to town who promises her that he can help her be a hero. But as the two grow closer, the wolf grows in Grace, and her relationship with Daniel begins to crumble. Unaware of the dark path she is walking, Grace becomes prideful in her new abilities - not realizing that an old enemy has returned and deadly trap is about to be sprung. ~ From breedespain.com

I loved Bree's voice in THE DARK DIVINE. It was so easy for me to step into Grace's shoes that I found myself sucked into the story within a few pages. THE LOST SAINT is no different. From page one, I couldn't put it down. I had to know what Jude was up to, what Daniel was like as a boyfriend (finally!), and what this Talbot guy was all about.

Grace is still the strong heroine we've come to know and love, and she braves the obstacles thrown her way like no other. There's no way I'd have the guts to make the hard decisions she makes, but I love tagging along. (And her choice in outfits always cracks me up.)

As for Daniel, he's one of my all-time favorite YA heros. But let me tell you, the addition of Talbot certainly makes things interesting. Daniel seems unwilling to teach Grace how to handle herself as a wolf, which puts stress on their relationship. So when Talbot offers to give her a few lessons so she can hone her skills, things get a bit...complicated.

To say the least.

You'll be on the edge of your seat, wondering about Talbot until the very end. And speaking of the end, you can look forward to a twist that will leave you howling.

There's nothing negative I can say about THE LOST SAINT. It was truly a great read, and I can't wait for the next book!
