This beautiful book immediately put me in the mood to color over the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday—perfect for a family activity.

I particularly enjoyed the quotes from the likes of William Shakespeare, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, L. M. Montgomery and Henry David Thoreau.

The fall motifs fluctuate from intricate and detailed, to light line drawings offering the opportunity for more personal expressions of creativity. I found the butterflies and fall flowers to be my favorites in this book. (Although I did expect to see some fantastic turkeys in all their glorious plumage, but alas, there are no turkeys in this Thanksgiving book.)

The pages are thick enough not to bleed with most mediums, although watercolors might not work well. The fine lines were extremely well done, with very few bold, thick lines to contend with throughout.

There are several pages dedicated to learning a little more about Zoe Ingram and what inspires her to create the her beautiful drawings.

The way the images bleed into the spine is always a little frustrating for me. Users who don’t mind removing a page from the book, will have no trouble reaching those areas. But if you're like me and you prefer to leave the pages intact, you may struggle to complete some designs.

From cover to cover, Thankfulness in Color will remind you of all the things you are thankful for this holiday season. A perfect gift for any coloring enthusiast.
