Romeo and Juliet is a classical and poetic book written hundreds of years ago. It is a romantic tragedy that is hard to understand at first since it is written as a play. Two families hate eachother and their children fall in love without them knowing. The children get married and soon die for eachother because of a misunderstanding. The families come together at the end.

Its not that i dont like romeo and juliet, because i do, but i think the lovers are naive. after seeing eachother and one kiss they want to get married. then the parents, they have control issues and could stand to live a little. Romeo was in love with Rossaline and all of the sudden she's nothing. Typical. And Juliet is eaisly wooed. She likes Romeo because she thinks he's good looking and adventurous. That's something she craves. Adventure. The story is ok for ficton, but it has led to people actually living it.

Of course it's a good story line. I mean, everyone know's the basic's. And most people have seen the movies. The book was good I suppose, if you could get past all the "art" and "thou" and "whist" and whatever else was in it. I had to have a good portion of the book explained to me.

Ok, so basically, boy meets girl. Family's hate each other. Boy gets banished. Girl pretends to kill herself. Boy really kills himself. Girl kills herself. The end.

The movie with Leo and Claire was way more entertaining tho.

This play was great! It was so sweet, and you should definitely read it if your in to the whole love thing.

Okay so, Romeo meets Juliet at her party and they fall madly in love. With a day they get married, and the Juliet's supposed to get married to Paris. As everyone know in the end, Romeo takes poison because he believes Juliet is dead, but then Juliet awakes from her deep sleep and finds Romeo dead.

Even though i knew Romeo and Juliet would die without seeing each other, I still was hoping that Juliet would wake up before Romeo died.
