What I loved:
Redemptor is the sequel to the outstanding first book in this series Raybearer. Tarisai is a character that grows significantly from when we first meet her in the children's palace in book one to this second one, where she is attempting to save the world essentially. There is a lot to find, and I love this series. Romance, loyalty, quests, magic, and discovering who you are meant to be. The key to this whole series is challenging what societies have always known and done and changing them to a better outcome.

Final Verdict:
In this final book, the magic system is explored more, and the story's darker elements take hold, so if you are not a fan of ghosts or demonic elements, you may want to stick with book one. The plot of this book moves along at a nice clip, the world-building is phenomenal, and the character growth hits all the marks. Second books are sometimes hit and miss, but this one is not forgotten.
Redemptor (Raybearer, #2)
