The sequel to "A Great and Terrible Beauty" is finally here and it is awesome!!! Holiday time at Spence Academy is not as jolly as it should be; the arrival of a mysterious new teacher has Gemma worried. After a bit of research Gemma, Anne, and Felicity come to the conclusion that she is Circe. Also three girls dressd in white haunt Gemma's visions, so too does the appearance of Pippa in the Realms where everyone must either cross over or become corrupt. Gemma meets many people who tell her to find the temple and bind the magic but she veers of her course, literally and finds out that even the strongest people face great adversities.

Rebel Angels-
this awesome book is the continuation to the equally awesome book A Great and Terrible Beauty. Gemma finally decides to go back to the realms with Felicity and Ann after the death of their dear friend Pippa. i was so happy to find that Pippa is there and their circle of friends are reunited, yet she is not the same... also in this book gemma must face her dead mothers former best friend,Circe and find the temple in the realms so she can bind the magic that she let loose when she broke stuff that bouned it together. gemma cant trust anyone.
this book has the best ending! it is unexpected and leaves you begging for more!

Another exceptional book from Libba Bray that has you itching to read it over and over again. The story continues on as Gemma in this book meets Simon and the sexy kartik starts to get a little jealous. Gemma will have to face her mother's childhood friend whose now Gemma enemy. A revelation that startles me (or I might be dumber than I think) has me flipping through the pages anxious to finish the book and itching at my collar at the revealing of the next book. a definite one to read but don't forget to read A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY first.

This sequel may be even better than the first. She lost nothing in her technique in her writing as some do. I liked that she gave reviewed a little during the first few chapters because it's been a while since I read "A Great and Terrible Beauty." I can barely wait for the next book in this trilogy. There is certainly some twists I never expected. I hated to put it down and finally go to bed.

It is now Christmastime and Gemma goes home for two weeks. She has destroyed the runes in the realms, and she thought she has bound the magic. She soon finds out that she has released the magic so that others can get the magic. Now she must find out who Circe is and how to destroy her and bind the magic.
