In this I Can Read! version of Pete the Cat, Pete joins a baseball team. In Pete's usual groovy way, the two teams playing happen to be the Rocks and the Rolls.
What I loved: Pete's baseball game isn't going the way he would like it to but Pete doesn't get discouraged, he keeps going and playing. The message in this story is about teamwork, something all little ones need reminders about now and then. This format will allow even Pete's youngest fans to participate in the reading of this book and find success with many sight words and great picture clues.
