Review Detail

This was a sweet board book with sliders and a mirror around the theme of peekaboo. Young children love the game of peekaboo and having an interactive book is sure to hold their attention. The book had pastel tones that were gentle while still being very engaging with bright cartoonish illustrations. I appreciate that the baby featured is of a darker skin tone to make the book more inclusive from the beginning of a child’s reading experience. I can’t wait to test this book out with some of my youngest students. I will be interested to see if the slides are sturdy enough to withstand the tough love little hands give books.
