The first thing I thought of when I finished this book was that it would be great for teaching young children about writing. I would use this book in my classroom as one of my first mini-lessons. What a great way to teach your kids that putting something on paper-words, letters, pictures, scribbles-is an important part of the writing and creative process.

The illustrations help make this book a winner and I loved every bit of it. What a sweet book to add to a classroom library.
