The fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was very exciting. The whole idea of two new schools and the tasks was very unique to the entire experience of the fourth book of the Harry Potter series. The very ending, when Voldemort finally comes back, both excites and saddens you.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth book in the series of seven. I think it is also the most eventful and important ones so far. In Harry's fourth year, Hogwarts is holding the Triwizard Championship. Three schools pick a student who is over 17 to compete in various dangerous competitions. Of course, Harry didn't enter because he was no of age. But some how he and another person from Hogwarts got chosen.

In this book, Harry has a pretty bad year at school. Ron is angry at him because of all the attention he gets, he has to try to compete in the Championship even though he doesn't know enough magic and a writer is writing horrible stuff about him in the Wizard Newspaper. It is also in this book that Lord Voldemort, the Wizard who killed his parents, returns to full power after being powerless for almost 13 years.

I don't know if JK is growing as a writer or if she is meaning for her writing to grow with the group but it just keeps getting better! Once again Harry is in danger, but from who? Who entered him into a dangerious event that had charms put on it to ensure no underage wizards or whitches could enter. Another great adventure that I could not put down! In fact I have started reading each book over as the new ones come out.

I really loved this book. While it's not my favourite, I still loved it. I especially loved the idea of a Ball. I think that it kind of made the guys braver in a way...even though it wouldn't be the end of the world to ask someone out! But, you gotta have guts to invite someone to a ball, right?

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is my all time favorite Harry Potter book. Its so enthralling!

In book 4 the exciting event of the year is the Tri-Wizard Tournament which is a huge event where a young wizard is chosen from the three wizarding schools. The particapent from Hogwarts is chosen from the Goblet of Fire and Cedric Diggory is chosen but the goblet also spits Harry's name up. This is a terrible miscarriage of justice in the eyes of the students. Everyone thinks Harry placed his name in the goblet on purpose. Since what the goblet says is final Harry is in the tournament and manages to get through the challenges with the help of his friends. In the end it comes down to Harry and Cedric. Unfortuantly dark forces intervine and take both Harry and Cedric away for a night of torture and tragedy.

This was the saddest book in the series, Book 6 now holds that title, but no matter what its a great book and my undisputed favorite.

This is definetely one of my favorites in the HP series. I just couldnt stop reading, because I couldnt believe what was happenning.
Every little detail is important at the end and that makes it just wonderful.
I really enjoyed the book, but at the end I must admit that I didnt want to finish it, because I wanted to know what was going to happen and I didnt wanted to wait that much for the fifht book.
It was totally amazing, specially the labyrinth part, OMG!!!
Loved it!!

Wow!! This book is packed with action!! In Harry's 4th year at Hogwarts a lot of weird stuff happens. He could get killed because of someone's wrong doings. Can he find out who it is in time or will it be to late?

Book four of the beloved Harry Potter series, finds young Potter and his friends back at Hogwart's ready to face another school year.  Not everything is what it seems, as so often occurs in the magical realm (and reality for that matter), for much excitement lies ahead!  The Tri-Wizard Tournament is going to be held at Hogwart's and for the competition, champions must be found.  Two additional schools of magic have arrived to participate in this event, thus 3 is the magic number needed.  Each individual wizard or witch must enter their name of their own accord into the flame of the goblet of fire, for many perils can befall those involved.  Fortunately for Harry, he does not meet the age requirements to enter and so settles in to be a spectator of the activites.  But wait!  What's this?  A fourth name has been chosen by the goblet...Harry Potter!  Impossible and yet it happened.....and as the rules are binding, he must also participate!

Will young Harry be up to the tasks chosen for older more wizened wizardry students?  How did his name end up in the goblet in the first place?  All this and more is revealed as the story progresses along with a surprise ending you won't see coming....happy reading!

This is definatly the best book in the series (I think) and is thrilling and full of dips and turns and all that good stuff that you expect from Rowling!
Of coarse, it is being made into a movie and I now watch the Teaser Trailer about two times a day!
If you ever read any book ever again, make sure it is Harry Potter and the GoF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously! (But PLEASE read 1,2,3 first!!!)
