Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
User reviews
The Harry Potter books have become ever so famous, and they are becoming boring to people now. However, they've stayed number one on my list, because I have never enjoyed reading any other book the way I've enjoyed reading the Harry Potters. Ms. Rowling has the ability of drawing the reader into the story with a power of no other author.
You do not have to be special in any way to enjoy the Harry Potters. For example, to enjoy a soccer book ectremely much, you really do have to know what soccer is and all that. But in Harry Potter, you are introduced to a new world that you haven't experienced before, but you always want to live in.
It keeps you reading by its plot, it keeps you interested by its details, and it keeps you in love with it by taking up that much space in your mind! So, from me, two words: KEEP READING!
He's in danger again and he knows it. Harry Potter is the 4th triwizard tournament champion. Someone has put his name in the goblet of fire, a person wants him dead. It seems that one of Lord Voldemorts servants is at Hogwarts. But Who?
This is wonderful. It's full of action and adventure. If you like this book you will definitly love the movie. J.K. Rowling completly mesmerizes us readers with her work.
This book was awsome, and I'm reading it for the fourth time and I still want to read it. I guess it's a good thing that I own all the books, huh? I can't wait to get to read the sixth book and if you guy's and girls like to read action or exitment or just plain out fantasy, I would suggest The Anubis Gates, By Tim Powers I just added it the list. Have fun!!!!!1111111
I loved this book! I never, ok maybe once or twice, got bored of it! it's most unlike me! I think this is my favorite book so far. it sux that they have to take soooo much out of the book to make it a short movie...but I say, wut the hech? why not leave it at 14 hours? but oh well, its not like they ever listen
Back for his forth year, Harry and his friends are in for a surprise when Dumbledore announces that Hogwarts will host the Triwizard Tournament. Harry, Hermione, and Ron look forward to watching the tournament, but more surprises are in store—Harry’s name comes out of the Goblet of Fire (used for choosing the representative of each of the three participating schools) as the second representative for Hogwarts and the fourth participant. This is completely unprecedented—not only is Harry too young, each school is only suppose to have one champion. So who put Harry’s name in the Goblet? And more importantly, why? Wizards and witches know that it is a dangerous tournament—it has even resulted in death a few times.
Now Harry must complete the three tasks set before him for a shot at winning the tournament. Can he fight for his life and the Triwizard cup in these dangerous tasks? With classmates and friends against him, it looks like a difficult future. The press isn’t helping either—stirring up trouble and spreading rumors, Harry is having a difficult time. Can he live through the tasks and personal troubles?
With another year ahead of him, Harry has a lot to face, and more secrets and deceptions, students have to watch their backs. New characters come and go, some with dark pasts and some with dangerous intentions, some not. Who can Harry trust? Will secrets be revealed too late? There is a danger in store for the wizarding world—will the truth be believed, or will terror reign?
A great book full of magic, adventures, twists and turns—another enjoyable and suspenseful installment for Harry Potter fans!
This book is a little older than what we usually read, but I would express my appreciation for this installment in the Harry Potter series. This particular story is full of all of the same magic, mystery, adventure and heroism of all of the other Harry Potter Books. The sections that we read together were especially enjoying. It really is a great book.

One of the sweetest books ever! My favourite book by her! But of course the movie is just not the same! I love to read her series!
When Harry mysteriously gets entered in the Goblet of fire, and his name gets pulled, people start to wonder if Harry is on the good side...
Read and find out!
Wow!! This book is packed with action!! In Harry's 4th year at Hogwarts a lot of weird stuff happens. He could get killed because of someone's wron doings. Can he find out who it is in time or will it be to late?
There truely is only one thing that I can say besides that Harry Potter rules...
"Harry go down to the lake tomorrow, right, stick your head in, yell at the merpeopleto give back whatever they've nicked, and see if they chuck it out. Best you can do, mate."-Ron of course
In this Harry Potter book theres a new love interest for Ron and Hermine. I won't spoil it for you, they also are having competitions against other schools. I like this book alot because they seem to be growing up, like there having crushes on people. It's fun to see them go through the normal teenage problems even though there wizards. All of these books are good but this one has to be one of my favorites. Theres nothing wrong with any of the Harry Potter books there all perfect. That's pretty much why I gave it a 5. These books are unique theres nothing like them right now.
