What I liked:
Foxglove picks up right where Belladonna left off, and yet again, we are left with a mysterious murder on our hands. We also have to meet Fate, Death's brother, who seems to think he should be the one with Signa. The beautiful descriptions and prose from book one are here to be found; the struggle for Signa to hide her abilities from those she cares about is here, and this is not the end of the tale; the next book is Wistera a year from now.
Final Verdict:
I am a sucker for books with characters with a lot of snarky banter between each other, and I have a hunch Wisteria is going to take that up a notch. With the introduction of the foxglove manor and the ghosts that live there, I would have liked to see more of that and less of Signa struggling to hide herself in the earlier parts of the book. This series builds so beautifully that you need to read them to get the full depth of this world.
