This book was so real! Ms. Draper is truly a great writer. This book is for you if you're a Draper fan.
The book starts out with this boy named Gerald who lives in Ohio(like in all her books). Gerald's mother loves him but she has "problems"
She leaves him alone to go out for a while and although she told him not to, Gerald plays with matches, and ends up setting the house on fire.
Later, after Gerald has lived with his loving "Aunt Queen" while his mother is in jail, she comes back. New husband and a new sis for Gerald. The rest... well you'll just have to read the book!
