This clever book explores what it means to be different from those around you and to have a unique talent that you haven't yet discovered. It also cleverly teaches the difference between a period, a question mark, and an exclamation mark. Young readers will be fascinated by the exclamation mark's attempts to fit in and to look just like everyone around him, and then by his realization that he has something special inside of him that makes being different from the others absolutely perfect.

The only thing I wasn't a fan of in this book are the illustrations. There's very little color, and my toddler wasn't as captivated by the pages the way she usually is.

EXCLAMATION MARK is a clever, inspiring book with simple illustrations that sends a valuable message to young readers.
