Do You Know? is a series of nonfiction books that cover all aspects of a given subject in great detail. This particular book is about music and contains information about everything from musical instruments to jobs in music.

What I Liked: Each page contains informative text as well as brightly colored illustrations which are eye catching. Every two-page spread features a different topic related to music. On the right of the page is a sidebar filled with fascinating facts like how music affects animals or why we hear sounds in a seashell. Several of the facts in the sidebar intrigued my ten-year-old son who wanted to learn more about them.

This is my first introduction to the Do You Know? series and I'm looking forward to reading more of the series based on this book.
