I know what it feels like to grow up with a father who was fully engaged in the day-to-day of my upbringing. I'm happy to see this book coming to market.
The illustrations by Nandi L. Fernandez have beautiful and honest designs. Love the eyes and attention to hair detail. This book is a sweet debut by Aissatou and Diariatou.

Good Points
I loved that this book was a narrative we don't see enough---the black father/daughter relationship.
