What I liked:
Crimson has always wanted to go to the city to the fancy store called Broomingdales, and she is very excited to find just the correct item to purchase. Broomingdales, as you can imagine, is meant to be just like Bloomingdales, the story that has just the right thing for every occasion. The problem is that the selection is narrow as it is made to fit the current trends. So what happens when you don't like that trend and have unique tastes and desires?
Final Verdict:
Crimson Twill Witch in the City is an adorable chapter book that shares how wonderful uniqueness is and that you don't have to like what everyone else wants. Crimson prefers her bright dress and fun shoes, and the fact that she likes dogs over cats is adorable. Crimson may not find an item to buy, but what she gains on her trip to the city is much more important than the value of being you and your friends. If you have a child who likes to stand out, share this incredible story with them and see them find delight in these pages that being unique is perfectly fine.
