This book is about a girl named Schuyler Van Alen. She attends the private school in New York City, Duchesne. her best friends name is Oliver Hazard-Perry and he also goes to Duchesne. And when Schuyler turns fifteen, her life takes a makes a dramatic change. And the death of a popular schoolmate haunts her in an unexpected way. Once an outcast, Schuyler is forced into Manhattan's most exclusive social group. Its members are powerful, and-as Schuyler soon finds out-not human. They are the Blue Bloods, an ancient group of of vampires, and they have been unstoppable for centuries. Now something is preying on this group. And Schuyler is determined to get the real truth.

Blue Bloods is a very captivating book. I thought this book was phenomenal. I was always reading when I had time too. It was a very suspenseful book. When I finished it I knew that I had to go and get the second one, Masquerade, and read it.
