WHEN DIMPLE MET RISHI
A laugh-out-loud, heartfelt YA romantic comedy, told in alternating perspectives, about two Indian-American teens whose parents have arranged for them to be married.
Dimple Shah has it all figured out. With graduation behind her, she’s more than ready for a break from her family, from Mamma’s inexplicable obsession with her finding the “Ideal Indian Husband.” Ugh. Dimple knows they must respect her principles on some level, though. If they truly believed she needed a husband right now, they wouldn’t have paid for her to attend a summer program for aspiring web developers. …Right?
Rishi Patel is a hopeless romantic. So when his parents tell him that his future wife will be attending the same summer program as him—wherein he’ll have to woo her—he’s totally on board. Because as silly as it sounds to most people in his life, Rishi wants to be arranged, believes in the power of tradition, stability, and being a part of something much bigger than himself.
The Shahs and Patels didn’t mean to start turning the wheels on this “suggested arrangement” so early in their children’s lives, but when they noticed them both gravitate toward the same summer program, they figured, Why not?
Dimple and Rishi may think they have each other figured out. But when opposites clash, love works hard to prove itself in the most unexpected ways.

The cover is so different and I love it. It’s definitely a book I can see myself reading!
I love this cover, and I’m one of those people who heard about this book early on and got OVERLY EXCITED. 🙂
I also got a chance to see the back cover of the book and it definitely shows this is a romantoc comedy! The cover definitely shows diverse characters right away which is very exciting! The synopsis though! So good and so adorable! There’s something amazing about arranged marriages working out. So i’ll be happy to read this.
I love the idea of this romance — a would-be couple dealing with the nuisance of their union being arranged by their parents. Sounds like it will be full of some different romantic themes than typical contemporary YA! Thanks, Kara S
So this book has been on my TBR since I read the synopsis, but THE COVER! Oh, how I love it! First, you have diversity, which is such a WIN! And, she is drinking iced coffee, and I know for sure that this character and I will be besties for life. Seriously, in love, and I cannot wait to read it!
