Elaine is new at her school. One day she meets a guy names Will who is really hot while she is on a run and falls for him. Turns out he already has a boyfriend, but there is much more to the story then this. Turns out she is living a real life Camelot story. She must fit the pieces together before things go crazy.
I must say i have read every Meg Cabot book like ever. She can do no more. This book is not a moving tale that will make you cry but it is fun to read and will make you laugh, and what more could you want from a book.

This book is absolutely wonderful.

Well, when I was looking for a book, the two genres I had in mind where chick flick and fantasy. What do you know, when I found Avalon High, by Meg Cabot, I got exactly what I wanted.

What really attracted me to the book was a sentence that goes something like this: "My dad has never been a nature person. He can hardly stand my cat, Tig. Which of course means Tig is crazy about him."

And for anyone who has ever had a cat, you know how much like a cat that is.

The first 180 pages in the book are very lovey-dovey. Elaine Harrison is in love with a boy named A. William Wagner, but he already has a girlfriend. Kind of a Romeo and Juliet story, I guess you could say. Elaine falls love with the wrong guy.

But then, after that, a strange fantasy takes place. Mr. Morton, a teacher, is in the Order of the Bear, which is a group of people who belive that one day KIng Arthur will be reincarnated. Elaine finds her self winding into a weird and unusual situation. What role will she play in this?

Read the book to find out!!!

P.S.
Right now I am reading the first book in the Princess Diaries, series, also by Meg Cabot. I hope it will be just as great!

Definitely different. Definitely not cliched. I have to admit, I was disappointed in Cabot's writing with the two AvonRomances she wrote, but this one just blew me away. Just the plot is simply powerful, and very much different than the norm.

I loved it. And you should read it. You already know the basic blurb from the book, but I would highly recommend this book. It was overly hilarious and romantic.

This is the best of her not-in-a-series books. It is SOOOOO romantic and very exciting, and it has so many surprising twists. It relates to the court of King Arthur too, so it's somewhat educational at the same time. But I very much reccomend this book. You'll be HOOKED on it.

Wow! This book is awsome. Elle an average girl who has no luck what so ever with boys, moves because her dad has to research a sword (her parents are both authors and research Middle Ages things). Love at first sight! Elle falls head over heels in love with Will, who may be a reincarnation of King Arthur. Jennifer, Will's popular, cheerleading, girlfreind is having an affair with Lance! Marco, Will's brother is trying to kill him though. This book has a twisted plot and has a wonderful CLIMAX!! It's filled with humor, plus is romantic, and adventerous.

Prolific YA author Meg Cabot introduces something new in her amazing stand-alone book, AVALON HIGH: the reincarnation of an old legend into a modern world.

Everyone has more or less heard of the legend of King Arthur. For Ellie Harrison, however, she practically LIVES surrounded by it. Both her parents are professors of the medieval ages, and have taken a year off from their jobs to write books about their shared passion. That means that for Ellies junior year of high school, shes moving from Minnesota to Annapolis, Maryland, mere miles away from the Naval Academy. Ellies last days of summer are spent floating in her backyard pool and running in the nearby park&and that is where she runs into Will.

A. William Wagner is the high schools star quarterback, valedictorian, class president, and overall well-respected good guy. The day Ellie runs into Will at the park, they smile at each other like they have seen each other before&only Ellie is sure that shes never met him before in her life (she wouldve definitely remembered otherwise). Much to her surprise, Will ends up showing up at her poolside after the first day of school and hanging out with her.

Of course, Ellie knows that nothing can after happen between her and Golden Boy. After all, he has a girlfriend, the beautiful, blond cheerleader Jennifer. Ellies just the friend who can make him laugh, thats all.

However, there seems to be something strange going on at Avalon High, things that are strangely coincidental to what happened to King Arthur all those centuries ago. It cant be that Will is the reincarnation of Arthur and that his life is in danger&could it?

And what part does Ellie play in saving the life of the man she loves?

AVALON HIGH is a perfect combination of humor, romance, and suspense. It had been on the edge of my seat as I breathlessly rushed to the finish in order to know what happens&and this is the second time Ive read it.

This book is a wonderful tie between an incredible legend and a normal high school. I think that its actually tied with Darkest Hour as the best books by Meg Cabot! Elaine just moved to Avalon High. The most popular guy, Will, listens to medievel music. His girlfriend, Jennifer, is really with his best friend, Lance. Their history teacher is acting very starnge. Even stranger, Will half brother seems to think she's the Lady of Shalott reincarnated! READ THIS!!!!!!!!

Not only does this book include a lot of romance, but it also teaches you about the great legend of King Arthur. This book is hands-down, one of Meg Cabot's finest. It includes love triangles and a bunch of other drama that makes this book exciting. This book won't dissapoint and you'll love every page from front to back.

Meg Cabot's Avalon High, is not, as it seems at first, your typical high school story. The book starts out with Ellie's summer floating in her pool, at the house where she and her professor parents have moved for the year. Ellie is not exactly thrilled to be starting her junior year at a new high school across the country from her friends on the West Coast, but what can she do? At least she's still in the United States. Her parents' last sabbatical took them to Germany.

Everything seems to be going, if not great, as planned. Then, one day, Ellie and her father go for a run in the nearby park. Normal, right? Yeah, until Ellie sees someone at the bottom of a ravine. Not just any someone-he's sort of cute, too, and they have a weird instant connection. It's like they've known each other before...But that's impossible, right?

It's not long before Ellie starts to see that maybe things at Avalon High aren't exactly as they appear. There are some rather interesting coincidences. Ellie, being the daughter of professors of medieval history, recognizes some of these that others might not. Such as the 'A' in the cute guy from the park, A. William Wagner. That stands for Arthur. Yeah, as in, King Arthur. And he has a scarily violent stepbrother...But King Arthur's brother, Mordred, was a half-brother, not a stepbrother, so Marco couldn't be Mordred reincarnated! Only crazy people, like her history teacher, Mr. Morton, think like that. Right?

This is a funny story that, while still managing to be something teenagers can relate to, is a lot more than that. With a supernatural twist, this book is great. Also great are the references to real-life history and the Order Of The Bear, a group that believes King Arthur will someday rise again to lead the world out of the Dark Ages. I myself had heard this theory before reading the book, which makes it even more believable.

Avalon High is definitely worth the time it takes to read it, and I reccomend it to anyone who loves any sort of teen fiction or fantasy. You won't regret reading it!

Ellie (Elianor) is named after the Lady of the Lake. Of course that is what you get when you parents are Medivalist. Her parents are on a sabbatical which mean she has to move to a different state for a year so her parents could study the medival times.

She soon meets A. William Wagner along with his girlfirend, Jennifer and best friend Lance. Will is a straight A popular jock who is liked by everyone. He soon starts talking to her telling her that he has this feeling that they have met before like in some other lifetime.

Ellie finds out that Will's girlfriend is cheating on him with his best friend. But wait this seems too similar to the legend of King Arthur.

Will's first name is Arthur. He has a boat called Pride Winn and a dog named Cavalier, a father who sent his best friend on a mission and died soon to marry his wife. A step brother named Marco. His girfriend, jennifer, her name is derived from Guinivier and his best friend's name is Lance who comes from the name Lancelot.

Will's life seems to have too much in common with King Arthur. Can it be that Will was right, Ellie and Will have met each other in a previous life. Is Ellie really the Lady of the Lake?

Everyone should read it, the ending has a shocking twist!!
