Ellie is the daughter of two professors who decide to take a sabbatical in Annapolis Maryland to work on their books. At first Ellie is very much against spending her year in Annapolis but, then strange things begin to occur. Ellie meets Will Wagner who is the star of the school's football team and is very popular. Will keeps thinking how he feels like he knows Ellie but, can't quite explain why. Ellie and Will soon become friends but, things soon become difficult as stories of King Arther begin to become extremely similar to events that begin to occur.
