This book was a lovely read about the partnership between flowers and the creatures that depend on them. The text can be a little distracting with the top part being more lyrical about what a flower can do and the bottom part asking comprehension questions about why different creatures would use the flower. I like the questions presented but think I would read the book once with the top text and come back for the bottom text. I also like the added text in the back that goes into further detail about the relationship different creatures have with flowers. The illustrations were gorgeous and I am especially fond of the cover with the little mouse peeking out of the flower. Overall, this is a lovely book with great facts about the interconnectedness of nature.
