About the Author
Laura Liddell Nolen grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where she spent lots of time making up adventure stories with her two younger brothers. The Ark is the direct result of those stories and a steady diet of space- and superhero-themed books and television sagas. She lives in Texas with her husband and children and on Twitter @Laurallnolen. The Ark is her first novel.

If I had to leave earth forever I would save all the memories I gained from it, both good and bad.

so. um, let’s see… If I had to leave earth forever (:o), I would try to save my family. I love my family, and they are all very important to me. So, the thing I would leave behind isn’t a physical object… Hope it counts. I would leave all of my disagreements and petty arguments with my family behind.

I would definitely take my significant other with me. If I couldn’t bring a person, it would definitely be a book.

I would save my phone or hard drive with all the pictures and memories of my friends and family and if I could I would save my family and friends also, but if I couldn’t then I would save my courage and wonder. So I could survive somewhere else.

I’d try to save some piece of art, like a poem, or a small token, to help me remember the Earth!
If I had to leave Earth I’d probably save all of the people I love and whatever weapon is closest to me.
