PAINT BY STICKER KIDS: HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS is a delightful new collection of 10 paint-by-sticker designs for the holidays. Each page features an image, which is divided by number into the stickers that will be placed there to create lovely images. The final images are on perforated edge cardstock for ease of removal and display, so that little ones can hang up their finished product! The holiday-themed images include a puppy in a present, an elf, Santa, a reindeer, and more.

What I loved: The paint-by-stickers for kids are such a great activity book. Children work on their spatial reasoning when they fit each of the stickers into their designated number space, rotating as needed to fit within the edges. They also work on number skills, matching up the numbers with a bit of short-term memory training after they pick up a sticker until they find the perfect location to match it to. The final product comes together beautifully and is something children can do independently (my nearly-5 year old can now do these all by themselves!) and on-the-go as it is self-contained. The format is also really well thought through with the pages all being perforated to allow the sticker sheets and final product to be easily removed from the book for active use and display.

Another cool feature is that the stickers can be peeled up after being placed, in case children need to realign or correct any mistakes as they go. This book also includes glitter stickers, which are somehow super-well-contained, so no glitter ever falls off, but it adds a touch of magic to the final designs. The images are great for non-religious Christmas with lots of recognizable and cute characters for children to paint-by-sticker!

Final verdict: Combining spatial reasoning with numbers skills, PAINT BY STICKER KIDS: HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS is a delightful new installment in the paint-by-stickers series with plenty of holiday cheer in an on-the-go activity that children can do independently!
