A Walk Through the Rain Forest is such a breath-taking picture book.
The illustrations are beautiful, although my children didn't enjoy them as much as I did as there is an absence of color. However, they show how diverse the animal, insect, and plant population of a rainforest can be. The full-color guide located at the back of the book was nice, providing both the common and scientific names.
The writing style was fun. The writer didn't over complicate things by using words that would go over most people's heads. I love how the importance of rain forests gets through through-out the entire story.
