Tuck Everlasting

I read this back in middle school for a class project. The story is so magical and enchanting that it is hard to forget. It's the first story I have ever read about "immortals", and anything I've read after Tuck Everlasting always gets compared. It's almost an ode to the fountain of youth!

The writing style was difficult to understand in some parts of the story. It was kind of confusing about why she didn't go back but understandable somewhat. She acted like she cared so much about them but she just ghosted them. Also in the ending were was Jesse and miles?

I think that the book's plot was dragged out in the beginning and rushed toward the middle and end. The characters were shallow in the fact with emotion and development. Overall, I think the author focused too much on the setting and not enough on the characters and plot.

Personally, I didn't like the book that much it was jumpy and slow paced at the same time. And there is so much figurative language that by the time you're done with two pages you can't even remember what happened on them.

I have read this in middle school and I do not recommend it for middle schoolers. This story plot does not make a lot of sense and its got to much figurative language. It feels like in each five sentences there is more figurative language so it doesn't make sense. They make a ten year old act like a 30-40 year old so its weird.

Tuck Everlasting was one of my favorite books ever read. It was a fast read but yet caught my attention. it was full of laughs and adventure, it even made me cry at then end. It's about a family that drank water from a lake and the water made them become immortal - they would never die. A girl names winnie and her fmaily owned the woods with the water in it. She witnessed jesse by the water drinking it so they kidnapped her, scared that she would tell there lifes biggest secret. The book is full of adventure and romance. i would really recomend this book to people who are into ramances and adventureistic books. its a very great book for y oung readers. id say to about the age of 13 and up. This book, i never got bored with liek some, liek i said its a fast read and it had my full atention. its honestly a great book for anyone.

   Tuck Everlasting is SO great! I loved it! It was SO ROMANTIC! WAIT I DON'T LIKE ROMANCE!!! But who cares it was AWESOME! I have read very few books that are better! I'm not the type of girl that likes all that romance stuff but it was SO cool!
   I didn't feel like reading it, then my sis read it and told me it was awesome so to make her happy (WAIT NOW I WANT PEOPLE TO BE HAPPY? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!) i read it, i was doubtfull at the start, but I ended up LOVING IT! Read it and I KNOW you will love it too!

not the best book i would read it again though it was pretty short which i like but it could have had a better ending

So.... this book is ok the story is meh... and also there is A PEDIFILE in this book. Wrting suck's and that's it.
