Now I haven't watched the movie, but a friend of mine told me it's not like the book and it really isn't. Somebody must have thought it was too boring so they changed up the script a bit, because she didn't fight anybody.

I loved her relationship with Prince Charmont (are all the guys in a Cinderella story named Charm-something?). They were friends at first and you could tell he liked her, but then se had to break it off with him, that was sad.

Ella could never live in this day and age that's for sure. A whole lot of things would have went wrong in her life by now.
