The Candymakers follows the adventures of Logan, Miles, Daisy, and Phillip, four kids who are almost COMPLETELY different (a prodigy, a worrier, an optimist, and an adult in a kid's body) as they compete in a candy-making contest at Life is Sweet, a less magic version of Wonka's Factory, each trying to make a candy more tasty than the Neon Yellow Lightning Chew, the Gummysaurus Rex, or the Oozing Crunchorama. But the big picture is far from what it seems, and suddenly the fate of Life is Sweet hangs on the outcome of the contest. Even though the kids are not what they seem either, they forget their differences and work together to create the winning candy for the contest. And it does win.(This book is indeed a book).

There's not a lot of sequel room, but the book is so jam-packed with action, laughs, and secrets, that it really doesn't matter.

Daer siht koob!
Good Points
It was comedic, but not ALL the time.
The characters were very vibrant and fleshed out, and each of them had a distinct personality.
The candy factory in the book, Life is Sweet, is a more believable version of Wonka's Factory in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
