Billy: MESSENGER OF POWERS did the impossible: it knocked Harry Potter off his pedestal as greatest YA fantasy character ever.  Billy is a high school freshman, young for his age, who somehow manages to antagonize every student and teacher in his high school.  Until, that is, Billy finds out that he is a Power: one of the witches and wizards who control the six elements of earth, water, fire, wind, life, and death.  More than that, he is perhaps the key to finding out secret to the return of the White King, the greatest Power of all time who has sward to protect the world of the Powers.  Now Billy must fight to stay alive as he is thrust into the forefront of the greatest War of the Powers to ever occur.
