This story makes a good bedtime story.IT would be a good one to read to kids that are learming to read but still want to be read to.I love how the little girl can be so creative.Even though her life is falling apart around her.she still knows that everything will be ok.

I really enjoyed reading A Little Princess as a pre-teen, and I was reminded of the story's great quality when I found an old copy in my garage and reread it. The story has a sort of familiar theme to it, main character goes from rags to riches and back again, yet a very original plot. The way Sarah Crewe was treated by Ermangarde and the others at the school she attended after her father died was so strange to her and was almost cruel, but the way she handled it seemed very cool to me when I was little. As her room was described in the book, I could just imagine how magnificent it was in my mind. Then, suddenly, Sarah wasn't allowed in the room and was forced to wear a small dull dress and serve her former school mates. The small adventures of sorts she had with her new friend, the servant girl Lottie were kinds I dreamed of, I've always wanted to live in some other previous time period.

This book is really good. My mother read it to me when I was little, and I loved it so much I had to read it again by myself. It makes me want to be a princess. Its a really good book for all ages.

A Little Princess is a classic book about a girl who has grown up in a rich life and suddenly has it all taken away from her when her father dies. The story talks about what she does and how she really is a cool person, not some snob with a lot of money.
This book is awesome. Everything flows really well and it is so natural. Though one part (about a chapter) dragged, the ending made up for it. This book is more girl interest than boy interest, and I loved it.

A breathe taking tale of a young girl who's father dies while she is at a london boarding school. Young Sara Crewe is penniless and alone, she lives in the boarding school's dreary attic, and works for her food and clothes. It brought tearss to my eyes reading this.

If you like the book you will certainly love the movie.
