It's here! The January YABC Mailbox video!
We got a ton of books in over the holidays. Then I made this video. Then we got in a ton more right after I uploaded this. Drat! They'll definitely be showcased next month.
We have a special guest star in this video! Jodi Meadows, author of Incarnate and Asunder, did some random dancing for us. She had a little...help...but you'll have to watch to find out more!
As always, good luck entering the giveaway. And enjoy these great new books!

Monday, 07 January 2013I gifted STORMDANCER by Jay Kristoff to the Mental Hospital where I work that has nearly NO books in the Child/Adolescent Unit. I'm happy to pass along any books to the cause. Especially ones that are therapeutic. Message me for more info.
*applause to Jodi Meadows for awesome ferret dancing*
I always love these segments because it helps my TBR grow exponentially each month. Thanks!

Friday, 11 January 2013I gave books about Steve Jobs and Walt Disney to my 6 and 9 year old nephews plus these great books--Mal and Chad Belly Flop, Big Al's Journey through the Yellowhammer State, and Seeing Cinderella for my 11 year old niece. I also bought This is Not My Hat for myself. I read the following books on my Nook app on the iPad during the holidays--Help Thanks Wow by Anne Lamont, Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally, A Redbird Christmas by Fannie Flagg, Dial Om for Murder and Corpse Pose by Dianna Killian, Holiday Buzz and A Brew to a Kill by Cleo Coyle, Pieces of Georgia by Jen Bryant, Where Angels Go, Angels at the Table, Touched By Angels, and a Season of Angels by Debbie Macomber. Apparently, all I did during my time off was read!
I am now reading The Other Rembrant by Alex Conner and it's great

I gifted The Poison Tree and The Dark Rose by Erin Kelly. Also, Twelve by Justin Cronin. I was gifted Stolen Night by Rebecca Maizel.
