Nothing like a cover reveal to start your week off right. This week we have Gena Showalter's THROUGH THE ZOMBIE GLASS!

Remember how awesome the cover for ALICE IN ZOMBIELAND was? Well the sequel is even better. Not lyin.

Before we get to the goods, here's a message from Gena:

When cover ideas for Alice in Zombieland came in more than a year ago, I was beyond excited. (And I know we’re supposed to be talking about the sequel, Through the Zombie Glass, but I'll make the connection, I promise). There were three kick-A ideas.  I fell head over heels in love with (2) and might have bartered a kidney to have it, but that wasn’t the direction we went for AiZ (not that I wasn’t thrilled with the direction we did go). Now, fast forward to the upcoming release of Through the Zombie Glass. We needed a cover. To my delight, (2) was still available—and I was still foaming at the mouth eager for a chance to make it mine.  I won’t tell you how I danced around the house when I found out the publisher had decided to go in that very direction (you’re welcome). I love the big dress, the shattered glass (make sure you check out the creepiness of the girl’s image!), the checkered floor, the dark air of mystery...I could go on. To me, this cover is just so much fun, with a treasure waiting to be discovered in every corner.

~ Gena

The checkered floor! Her hair! The teensy skulls! The rabbit! I can definitely see why Gena was smitten with this image for so long. You guys know I love the creepy and dark covers. I love the font choice, and I love frames/borders on covers as well. This cover has everything going for it!

What do you guys think?

A little about THROUGH THE ZOMBIE GLASS:

Inspired by the childhood classic Alice in Wonderland, this harrowing and romantic story features teen zombie slayer Alice Bell who has lost so much—family, friends, her home. After a strange new zombie attack, Alice fears she may be losing her mind as well. A terrible darkness blooms inside her, urging her to do wicked things. The whispers of the dead assault her ears and mirrors seem to come frighteningly to life. She’s never needed her team of zombie slayers more—including her boyfriend, Cole—than she does now. But as Cole strangely withdraws and the zombies gain new strength, Ali knows one false step may doom them all.

A little about the author:

Screen Shot 2013-03-04 at 11.02.29 AMGena Showalter is a New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author whose books have appeared in Cosmopolitan and Seventeen magazines, as well as Entertainment Weekly.  Critics have called her books “sizzling page-turners” and “utterly spellbinding stories,” while Showalter herself has been called “a star on the rise.”  Her newest young adult series is the highly anticipated White Rabbit Chronicles.  Book one, Alice in Zombieland, features a girl who loses her entire family in a car crash only to wake up to a world of zombies and zombie slaying…and a bad boy who will either save her or destroy her.  This promises to be her edgiest yet, with a dark, creepy backdrop, forbidden romance and the journey of a lifetime, turning Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice in Wonderland tale upside down and inside out.

Now I'm wondering if Ali wears that top hat while she slays zombies...

One lucky US/Canada winner will get to find out, with their very own signed ARC (when they are available)! Enter to win below:
