Today we’re celebrating the cover for The Last Changeling by Chelsea Pitcher, coming Fall 2014 from Flux/Llewellyn. Before we get to the cover, here’s a message from Chelsea:
I am so, so excited to share the cover of THE LAST CHANGELING with you today. I am seriously in love with this cover, you guys. Like full-blown, head over heels, want to marry it love. (Because that’s not weird…) But full disclosure: this isn’t the cover I envisioned in my head. I always imagined the cover would feature my female faerie protagonist, rather than the human male. Still, the minute my editor sent me this photo (taken by the brilliant Marwane Pallas), I knew it was the perfect image. It even creates a sense of mystery: if the teenage mortal is on the cover, why does it look like he has wings? Are the wings made of light? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN? I can’t wait for you to discover the answers to these questions, and thank you for coming on this journey with me!

The story sounds incredible and I can’t wait to see how Elora and Taylor face their obstacles. The cover is gorgeous and it helps that theres a beautiful shirtless guy on it!

I think the cover is stunning and unique! You don’t see very many YA books with a boy on the cover. The synopsis sounds intriguing and I’m looking forward to reading it!
I love books about faeries so the cover really catches my attention..I didn’t know it was a male until I clicked on the picture haha anyway, it is really BEAUTIFUL!! I would really love to read it ^_^

I have already read a book called the last changeling! I downloaded it from Amazon it is by a British author called F R Mayer. Strangely the plot sounds very similar and since this book has been out ages surely this is plagery. How can two authors come up with books about faeries with the same title? I for one am appalled !
