The illustrations are simple but captivating. Only the colors black, white, and sky blue are used with simple words that fill this book with action and emotion. The little rabbit likes to play and just when the rabbit is having the most fun something happens that stops it. However, the rabbit does not give up and is eventually able to take off for more adventures. I like that the book ends on a high note making the rabbit feel unstoppable. This book would work great with reading to your little ones and discussing early cause-and-effect situations.
