At V'Salicus Academy, a unique institute where she trains to become an agent of heaven, she struggles with the pain of her past, the changes of the present and accepts a loveless future until her path – and heart – crosses with Basil’s.

Basil's off-chance slip of the tongue binds him to a life of servitude to the Devourer, the master of hell. His existence has no upside until a chance meeting with Abigail brings new perspective.

Keeping the truth of their present lives from each other brings disaster when secrets are brought to light and the life of Abigail’s mentor is put on the line.

Can Abigail and Basil save her mentor and salvage their love amid the chaos? Or will they lose it all, destined forever to NEVERLOVE?

Rocket Summer
Lacey Patterson is thirteen years old, and her life in the tiny desert town of Alice, Nevada is boring and predictable. Her mom died three years ago, and her dad's been so busy working that she's pretty much been on her own ever since. For her and her friends Kenny and Charlie, it's looking like another summer of washing dishes, fixing irrigation pipes and poking sticks at armadillos. Until they make an exciting - and dangerous - discovery. Lacey's stumbled across a crate filled with surplus military rockets. So she and Kenny have decided to do what any kid would do... build a rocket powered car on the outskirts of town. Of course, they know nothing about cars, and have no way to move the rockets. Oh, and they'll probably get killed in the process. Luckily, Kenny's delinquent older sister Darlene does know cars, and she has a pickup. So they scrounge for small change to keep her in hush money, and she helps them steal parts and tools. With enough duct tape and baling wire, and a healthy dose of not-knowing-any-better, they're bent on making this a summer to remember... if they can just stay alive long enough to enjoy it.

Butterfly Powder and the Mountains of Iowa
An underdog loses again--or does he?

A land conspiracy that endangers his family's farm, and a smooth-talking rival out to steal his girl, aren't all that a laid-back teen, Gilbert Perles, faces in the tumultuous mid-1960s. He must also contend with hopelessly eccentric parents, an overly active imagination, and uncanny bad luck.

Gilbert, urged on by his equally hapless friends, decides to fight back. Unfortunately, his well-intentioned schemes always backfire until a selfless act earns him a satisfying and unexpected victory over his rival. Yet, even in triumph, bad luck works against the young man and defeats him in an unanticipated way. Gilbert encounters his rival again three years later in chaotic Vietnam, a place where the price of failure is steep. The soldier returns home broken. Like before, even in victory he loses what he most wanted. Or does he?

The Promise of Living
The Promise of Living is a heart-rending coming of age novel of sixteen-year-old Ryan Colton and his quest for his own authenticity. Ryan's mother died when he was young, and he and his father carve out a tenuous but trusting relationship. Ryan works on Lee Hemmer’s farm with his best friend Dave in Wilson's Ferry, New Hampshire, a stifling, small town where, in 1975, everyone, it seems, has something to hide. Ryan has a mysterious series of premonitions and visions that reveal the darker secrets of the townspeople. His gift becomes overwhelming when he visions a murky murder at the high school and cannot prevent its occurrence.

Ryan seeks the help of a Boston transfer student and a famous psychic to not only focus his gifts to solve the murder but to finally accept his own personal feelings for Dave. Ryan struggles with his own power of being different in the world and knows that the true resolution lies within him.

Guy Going Under: A Cave Adventure
A cave adventure turns perilous as history raises a mystery

Guy Toulouse is an unmotivated high school student obsessed with his self-image and a girl out of his reach. When he flees to the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State to escape his troubles in Seattle, he doesn’t expect to encounter a dangerous gangster, a mystery surrounding 16th-century European buccaneers, and a hidden cave with a grisly history.

Nor does he expect to discover a connection between the historical mystery and a recent unexplained death or to become trapped underground with a too-smart girl he dislikes. In order to survive, he needs to call on resources he didn’t know he had and re-think what—and who—is important to him. The trouble is Guy doesn’t know if he is up to the job.
