Mad Love, is about Alice, the daughter of the Queen of Romance. Alice's mother is in a mental institution, and Alice s trying to hide that fact while trying to keep them from being homeless. It doesn't help things that a guy keeps following her around, claiming he's Cupid, and she needs to write his love story before its too late.
This was not just a cute book, it has stronger themes, such as mental illness, and terminal illness. But Selfor kept the book upbeat and hopeful throughout. The main character Alice, was relatable in all her struggles. My favorite character was of course Cupid, or Errol as he wnet by. I liked this book, but I enjoyed Selfor's previous book Coffeehouse Angel better. I recommend reading both of these books by her.
