Andi Grant adores her 6-year-old brother Daniel, a "miracle child" who fell down a mine shaft and survived. People regularly come to him for blessings and healings (which sometimes seem to work), and Andi is horrified by his exploitation, esp. when she finds signs of a stalker around their home. With the help of her once-and-maybe-future boyfriend Jeff, she comes up with a plan so audacious, so dramatic, it will stop the attention on Daniel forever: an "Anti-Miracle" that will unravel with the slightest examination of the facts, and cast doubt on Daniel's powers forever after.

As her plan comes together, the stalker draws closer, and the clock ticks toward Daniel's star turn at the local Paradise Days celebration, Andi finds herself wrestling with her own beliefs in God and her brother, and wondering if what she really needs is . . . a miracle.

Andi Grant loves her little six-year old brother, Daniel, a "miracle child" who survived a fall down a mine shaft three years ago. People regularly come to him for blessings and healings - which often seem to work - but Andi worries about their effects on her brother, especially when she finds signs of a stalker around their home. With the help of her once and maybe-future boyfriend Jeff, she comes up with an audacious, dramatic plan to stop the attention on Daniel; an "Anti-Miracle" that will unravel with the slightest examination of the facts, and cast doubt on his powers forever after.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I found myself really anxious to learn how the story was going to end. What was going to happen to Daniel? Andi? Jeff?

Andi is 19 years old and is waiting another year before going to college, just so she can help take care of Daniel. She is a self-sacrificing big sister. All she wants is for Daniel to be safe. I find that quality so comforting and I loved how well she took care of her little brother. There were quite a few times I was left with my mouth hanging open at what had just happened. As Andi struggles with her faith in God, the stalker gets closer and closer to her brother. The reader cannot help but be frightened for Andi and her family. The entire time you're wondering if Daniel can really heal people or what is going on! If you are looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat and deals with spirituality, then go pick up this book today!
