Great ending to a fab series!

Sabine's psychic and sleuthing skills are put to the test as she deals with the mysterious disappearance of her ex-boyfriend Josh, a new threat against her boyfriend Dominic, and evil magicians. Not all is what it seems to be. But Sabine is used to that. Or is she?

I totally love Linda's writing! I still remember buying DON'T DIE DRAGONFLY and being hooked. Linda's the queen of paranormal series. By this I mean she's able to weave in backstory of the other previous books without either overwhelming the reader or boring them to tears.

In Magician's Muse we follow Sabine on her last adventure which involves a former woman magician and a few others who aren't all they seem to be. I thought it was an interesting touch to find out the world of magicians and how women have been mostly excluded.

I enjoyed Sabine's relationship with hunky Dominic. Also Sabine is more comfortable with her gifts and abilities. We see this as she goes off to find the truth behind her ex-boyfriend's disappearance, even though he scorns anything to do with psychics.

This book has it all: romance, intrigue, mystery, friendships, and finding yourself. I'm kind of sad to see this series end but can't wait to see more of Thorn in an upcoming series spin off! Highly recommended!
