The author was doing a book signing at the local library that I just happened to be at that day picking up some dvds. I'm a sophmore in high school, so I read the occasional book, especially when it's not assigned in a classroom. The author was nice and young like myself, which I thought was really cool, because most authors you meet are like my parents age.

She told me all about the book, was wrapping them for the holidays, people bought them for stocking stuffers, which is really cool idea. I bought a book. She signed my copy. I like romance novels, but had not read one set during WWII.

It was incredible. I loved it. I felt like I was the heroine and absolutely fell in love with the two main heros of the book. I didn't know which one I wanted her to wind up with at the end, I liked them both so much. Best historical fiction I ever read!

It was a very easy read, moves along at a fast pace, and not long, which I love. I don't like to read epic novels of hundreds of pages, I wouldn't have the time, plus it could never keep my interest to read something that long. This was just perfect.

I learned a lot about that time during the war, and it almost seemed like I was reading a non-fiction book because it seemed so real, as if the heroine was real and had gone through this adventure and romance through the war.

I wanted to let other teens know that this is not just a book for adults, but for young adults too. This will now be one of my favorite books along with the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series, which are really easy, fast reads, which I most enjoy.

I wonder if the author will write another? I already signed up on her website, which I thought was cool, she actually responded back to me and answered my questions and I signed up for the emails when she updates her blogs and talks about her books and writing and stuff. So cool. She was nice and down to earth, most celebrities are not!

I'm a huge fan of Twilight. I loved the book and movie. It was very romantic. One of my favorites. I loved the romance between the two main characters, Bella and Edward, and how they fell in love. Lie with the Devil reminds me of this same type of sweet, beautiful romance between the two main characters, Dagmara and Colin. If you love Twilight, than you will definitely love Lie with the Devil, as I did. I would definitely recommend reading them both!

Lie with the Devil is a romantic suspense set during the 1940's. I love to read 'In Love and War' dramas. I love adventure, suspsense, intrigue, romance, which this book has, just like Twilight. A real love story for young adults like myself. Two star crossed lovers like Romeo & Juliet!

Lie with the Devil is the story about a young English girl who falls in love with an RAF fighter pilot just on the brink of war. As war breaks out, the young lovers are torn apart. William is sent on a dangerous mission. With the possibility of never seeing each other again, they get engaged.

Dagmara, what a beautiful name for a heroine, returns home to London, but her plane gets shot down and she finds herself stranded and alone in France. Strong and undaunted, she disguises herself as a boy to evade the Germans.

Seperated from her family, friends, and fiance, she is befriended by a group of young Irishman.
As Dagmara and Colin become allies, they soon form a close friendship on their dangerous journey home.

As they seperate from his friends, Dagmara and Colin soon find themselves pursued by a spy and hunted by Germans. In enemy territory with only each other to rely on for survival, their friendship leads towards romance after saving each other's lives.

Two strangers from completely different backgrounds, one upper class and rich, the other, poor and lower class, risk everything for each other as they fall in love. Dagmara finds herself in love with two men. One, would give her the world, the other, would make her his world.

A love trianlge that is so very romantic. For the true romantics at heart, like myself. Who doesn't love the idea that you can meet someone tomorrow, and they can be the love of your life, it's so very romantic!

I guess I'm a hopeless but hopeful romantic at heart, that's why I loves these books Twilight and Lie with the Devil. I hope they make this one into a film too.
