The Gatekeepers: Nightrise (Book 3)
In this anxiously awaited sequel to Evil Star were introduced to twins Scott and Jamie Tyler who just so happen to be two of the Five. Theyre working in a rundown magic show in Reno when they are discovered by two Nightrise workers. Nightrise is a company working with the Old Ones in a goal of total destruction. Scott is taken but manages to save Jamie. Jamie immediately starts looking for Scott and has help from a woman whose son was taken by Nightrise also. He goes through a lot in the course of things, like being sent back in time 10,000 year, but it doesnt break him.
If you love Ravens Gate or Evil Star, youre sure to love this. Actually, if you love Anthony Horowitz youll love this. Its wonderful and leaves you desperately waiting for Necropolis.
Nightrise was very, very, VERY interesting compared to the previous 2 books in The Gatekeepers / Power of Five series. This series is about 2 telepathic twins that have been used & abused all their lives, and though that is already common (well, not the telepathic parts), but even so, the fact that they are truly telepathic automatically made the story to be much more interesting to me. They have to find each other within worlds, and times, and I found that bond very strong and fun to read about. They also learn about all the other of 'the five'. It was truly very interesting.
