Fat Charlie is just an everyday guy with an embarrassing father whom he'd rather just forget. After hearing the news of his father's (embarrassing) death, Fat Charlie meets the brother he never knew he had, and finds out why no one ever forgets their father. An excellent spin-off of sorts from "American Gods", this book delves deeper into the myth and magic of Anansi, the Spider God. Funny and a little scary, this book will be treasured by Neil Gaiman fans of all ages.

Fat Charlie's life is going good. He's about to get married. He has a job. His father is out of his life....

But then, he learns that not only is his father out of his life, he's also dead! And his crazy father was a god!

And Fat Charlie has a brother who's miraculously appeared back into his life... And won't leave!

This fantasy novel is extremely innovative and incredibly funny. I can't wait to read what Neil Gaiman writes next.
