The name of this book was enough to draw me in. Dylan is a girl who is dating a guy, Cam. Joc is a girl who is dating a guy, Dikker. Cam is apart of the jock crowd, Dylan now is. Joc and Dylan have been best friends since grade 3. They grew up together, learned together and experimented together.
Dylan has had sex before with another guy but she just can't seem to have sex with Cam. Everytime he touches her or gets to close she kind of just freezes up and becomes detached almost stone like. Cam is the perfect guy and Dylan knows it; he's popular, athletic, parent approved, and great with her little sister.
Dikker and Joc are having sex all the time and are constantly hanging over each other. Dikker is known for cheating on his girlfriends and being trash in general.
Dylan can't seem to get rid of the feeling that she's not normal that she's not so into Cam and not really into any male. Throughout the boook she comes to learn about herself and her sexuality.
I loved this book. It started out some what slow and at times I found it a little boring but I connected really deeply with the story line and connected with the characters and their emotions. I loved this book and hope to read more of Goobie's novels.
