You, Maybe: The Profound Asymmetry of Love in High School
hey. well, the cover of this book wasnt really eye cathing, but i read some of the first few pages...and i started to like it. I knew josie was gonna get into some trouble with carson, it was bound to happen. But it wasnt her fault. He started it. But i liked it, i really did.
It told me about the torubles of love in high school, & how it could hurt you. Well, i did like this book. It was really good.
In her most recent teen novel, Rachel Vail attempts to portray a story of first love that's meaningful and one that will be remembered.
She doesn't succeed.
Josie comes off as snobby, whiny, and extremely stupid. The plotline was dull, and there was a serious lack of propriety in some cases. Call me old fashioned, but that alone was enough to make me say, "Well, that was a waste of 200 pages."
