24 Girls in 7 DaysHot
Newcomer Alex Bradley shares a fresh and funny boy perspective in a genre dominated by girls. With snappy dialogue and hip, smart writing, this is a hilarious take on the trauma and pageantry that is prom.
I thought this book 24 Girls in 7 Days was fairly good. It was entertaining to see what would happen next.
The whole point of the story is that a young teenager's friends put an add out in the high school newspaper stating that he needs a date for prom. And they do all of this WITHOUT his knowing. He comes to find out when he starts to get e-mails from random girls. The problem with this is that he's not much of a ladies man. Now he must go through going out with different girls while finding himself go through a couple of problems along the way.
In my opinion, this is a good read to keep one busy for a day or two.
It's a sweet book that left me in fits of giggles.
I didn't have much hope for it-It was one of those books you grab off the shelf because your mother is nagging for you to leave. But, it was great. A great novel that will lift your mood almost instantly.
Final line-Funny, Charming, Good pick-me up for a bad day. 4/5
At first i thought it would be just another love story about a guy figuring out that one of the girls maybe the last girl on "The List" but the twist at the end was amazing and very funny he's not such a good basketball player though i would reccomend it to all of my friends
I think the main dude sounds sweet. Cant remember his name though (borrowed book from girlfriend) but I think his geeky but cute personality is awesome! Only thing about this book is that it's not interesting. I mean, it's basically him just meeting girl after girl. It's like there's no connection btween the reader and guy. All I can say now is that the guy (wait, was his name David?) needs to stay away from singles bars and date people within 10 yrs. of his age. Not that his going 2 the prom w/ grandma wasnt sweet!
I loved the concept of this book. A shy senior wants to go to the prom and so his friends make a site that gets girls to go with him. Surprisingly, he gets many applications and has to go on several dates, one with his dream girl. Turns out his dream girl wasn't so perfect after all.
Although this wasn't a bad book, it wasn't totally enthralling either. However, if you're looking for a light, comic read, this may just be the book for you.
Two friends set out to find their friend a date, even if this means telling lies and doing it behind his back. Girls he would never have imagined talking to want to date him, and this baffles him slightly. All in all a pretty good read.
This was an easy book to read and didn't take that long to get through. I almosted didn't read it because it was narrated and mainly about a boy. I decided to read it and i am glad i did, it was great. This book is about a boy named jack who goes out with 24 girls in 7 days. His friends put out a personal ad with out him knowing and he gets over 200 responses. This book aloows a girl to get inside a boys head in a way. It shows how guys think about dating and personal ads.
This book was good. The story of a nerdy boy looking for a prom date. His friends place in the local paper looking for his prom date. He goes on dates with many girls, but soon finds out that most of them were bribed to go on a date with him. In reality only 4 girls applied to his ad. In the end, he soon finds the girl that has been their all along, the girl whose locker was right next to his. This book was super good and you should read it!!
This book is about a guy named Jack Grammer that needs a prom date for his senior year prom. After being shutdown by the girl of his dreams, Jack's friends Natalie and Percy post an personal ad on the school newspaper saying that he's looking for a prom date. When Jack finds out, first he's angry but then he decides to go the dates. I can't tell you the rest but I do recommend this book. I think this book is a light read that anyone can read.
I thought this book was quite interesting, simply because it is romancy in some ways, but also because the point of view is from a boy's perspective. It's not full of fluff and feelings and what not, it's plain and simple and to the point. I loved the twist and turns, though while I was reading it, some parts were slightly predictable. However, this book was full of wit and humor, and I couldn't put it down. Go ahead and read it, it's a really cute novel.
