Journey to the Centre of the Earth
I read journey to the centre of the earth and I loved it. I felt as if I were with Axel, Hanns, and Professer Lidenbrock journeying to the centre of the earth. Jules Verne did an awsome writing this book and I felt as if I knew the characters, it was as if he himself had gone to the centre of the earth, it felt so real. I loved this book and I really reccomend it!
I watched the movie before I read the book. After reading the book, I discovered that the book was better than the movie; and I thought the movie was pretty good! This book is about a journey to find the center of the earth. I thought it was fantastic...the dangers of the underground and the unknown, the tretchery of fellow adventurers, and the excitment of discovery. I found that this book satisfied my craving for adventure, and I highly enjoyed another of Jules Verne's stories.
Professor Lindenbrock is persuaded there is "something" in the center of the Earth. Then he decides to organize an expedition to go there.
He is about to discover a fantastic world, with unexpected places, lands and creatures during a long journey, amazing as well as scary...
The story it-self is great, especially that when Jules Verne wrote it, nobody even knew the Earth had a molten core...
After reading 20.000 leagues under the sea and Around the World in 80 days I was really excited to read this one...but I was really disapointed.
It's a really looong looong novel, without many interesting actions and without really nice characters...
A book I would advise to avoid it in Verne's work, even is the others are really great.
