This book is sooo sad it made me feel so bad for Green because of what happens, i don't want to say what because i wouldn't like to ruin it for anyone, but trust me, it's really really sad. The story was really great i enjoyed it very much. It's a very short book, but great nonetheless.

Green Angel is a very interesting book.Although quick the story is quite compelling and it drags you in to the plot.
It is about a girl named Green. She is shy and one with the garden, but when her world tumbles in to a place covered in ash and sorrow her life changes forever. This book will change you and give you a new outlook on life, how life can change in a moment, and how a world of wowes
and miseries can become bright.

this book was dramatic, intense, and intoxicating. you could really feel the main character's side of the story. if your whole life got burned down what would you do? she struggles not to fade away like the ash that covers her world. primitive survival skills take over as she learns how to cope with this new world she's forced to live in. a very powerful book.

This book will leave you so breathless, so filled with hope when you end the novel that you will truly feel changed for the rest of your life.
The plot is all well and good, but what really caught my attention was the style of prose in the writing. The text was short, yet so enchanting, pulling you into the tale without any release. The tale of the healing is so poignant, it left me completely breathless wishing for more.
This book was a truly wonderful experience, and it is one I will never ever forget.

Green Angel, a book about a young girl who loses her entire family in a fire. After losing her family, Green suddenly finds herself alone and seemingly futureless. In her grief she cuts her hair, tattoos her skin, and changes her name to Ash. Facing starvation, hordes of looters (other children whose familes were lost to the fire), and her ever mounting grief, she meets friends in unlikely places who help to discover the Green she was meant to be.
Green Angel was shorter then most fiction novels today, but was one of the most inspiring stories I've read in a while. The characters represented different emotions and feelings perfectly and the story line was sweet and resolved itself towards the end...giving you that *happy* feeling you get after reading a tragic story that ends well. All in all, Green Angel is a great read for anyone who wants to fill a short time with a wonderful story.

This was a really good book. I didnt expect much to come out of a book with only... what was it? About 115 pages? Real short, but real good.
Most of the people in the town are dead, leaving teenagers and few others who survived to fend for themselves. As most of the teenagers terrorize the remander of the town, and run of into the forest to live like gypsies, one girl stays in her home alone, assuming her family is dead. There she loses her identity (after living in her sister's shadow for so many years), covers her body in tattooes, meets a mysterious new friend who doesnt speak, and befriends a stray dog. It takes her awhile, but she soons gets her life back into somewhat of an order and finds herself again.
